South american sun at Goodison Park

There certainly is a buzz around Goodison Park, Evertons stadium, this time. Theres certainly something new. New faces, fresh ages, fresh air for the supporters to cheer on. Nothing better than southamerican sun to melt the icy liverpoodian weather that sleeps by the Grand Old Lady, could’ve been one of gaffers Marco Silva thoughts before going to lasts summers transfer window. Cause along him arrived two brazilians, one colombian, one portuguese and two french players that have added vast quality to the football club. And 25 years since the Toffees last cup title, the peoples clubs hopes are thriving and shining as a quarter century did so. Anyway, probably dreaming that much would be too soon por the moment. The machine is on the making. The Premier League has already its six firm contenders and breaking through them for Everton would mean asking too much. Seventh place pushing onto six would be more realistic and sounds quite posible for Marco Silvas engine room to aim for given his squads strength in depth. The Blues lasts outing at Leicester was a great sample of what they are capable of and taking into account Mina and Coleman ere missing in the back line enthusiasm could be even higher.
Silva knew he somehow had to fit new brazilian face Bernard into the starting eleven although that meant pushing Richarlison from left wing upfront. He reaped the rewards: Bernard being man of the match and Richarlison scoring the opener. Gylfi Sigurdsson, Evertons star playmaker, found much more freedom and easiness to find space through the middle thanks to Bernards cleverness and fifteen minutes from time produced a magical winner seeling Evertons victory.
In two weeks time, ended the international break, Everton recieve Crystal Palace at Goodison and the crowd would excpect anything but three points staying home. Marco Silva has big decisiones to take. Did he use Richarlison upfront just because he was away at Leicester? Can Bernard go out of the team after that great display? Will Southamerican Sun keep making Everton the hottest team in the league? Wait and see.
